This shot of Greenock docks was taken with the lens at full stretch (max zoom) from Blairmore, on the shores of Loch Long. For once, there was a clear day! Remember those cranes, they'll make another appearance here before too much longer.

DeleteIt's a channel marker... if you peer closely between the cranes you can see a container ship... Yxx
