This one was a mystery for a while. Still is, really. The photo was taken back in February. Sadly, the name is just not legible (apart from ending in ...ace). The phone numbers led me nowhere.  However, I surmised it was doing something with either diving or cable-laying, so researched companies in that line. The nearest informed guess I can make as a deduction from all that, is that this blue baby was laying submarine cabling for communications.

Not superfast broadband, I know that much.......

Monday's Critters

Don't think I have ever shared this scanned print with you here.

It was made using the original Minolta pocket-cam and clearly the res + scanning has done it no service. If you look closely though, You will notice that the GSD is carrying a baby Koala!

They lived at the Brisbane Koala Sanctuary. This was part of my original first tour of OZ.

The one which bewitched me.

There will be enough spook and spectre at the end of the week... a bright moon shot to light the way.

At the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, after the Victorian edifice of the first glass house, come a variety others of varying age. There had only been Victorian buildings until disrepair of all but the Palm House meant demolishing - the 1960s saw several of this style erected.

An Isaac (Guide dog in training) shot... which as you can clearly see is not my own.

I of crouse have not, and likely never will, actually meet Isaac. I shall rely on the Guide Dogs to keep me updated with his progress... and lovely piccies of hi.

Sorry for the poor quality; this one came via email and is very low res.

Hmmmm; maybe that's stretching it.  Think subtle lemon pepper overtones and base notes of a musky jasmine. Himalayan Poppy and Himalayan Primula at Bowmore Botanic Gardens.

Monday's Critters

Aw heck, told you I was dredging the barrel!  This one nearly went to SUNday posting... but need to balance things and as Jilly the Daffy Giraffy was in it, stuck it here.

Don't worry. There will be more live critters ... eventually...  Have I mentioned on this blog yet that I am off on a seven week trip Down Under? Am treading water here (and will preschedule all my posts for that period), in the fervent hope and expectation that I will top up on all the wonderful wildlife and nature whilst I am there. The Fudge will be working overtime!!!  I will be there for November and December. Of course, I will keep a 'tab'[let] on you all &*>
