For the duration of this notice, unless otherwise stated, all images have been trawled from my photographic archives... 2020 was not my most prolific camera year, so have some catching up to do!!!

Dull days do not delay doggy day-treks! Due to having to ration my critter shots, the reverse photo of this pair is being held till next week.

Two entirely different moons on two entirely different months.....

oh okay. Same moon.

Two entirely different phases of the one moon; in two entirely different months in the one year.

Last Thursday of September - what awaits...?

This is not a simple ship.. She's special. The RFA Wave Knight lives up to the name; a replenishment vessel, whilst on Caribbean deployment, this lass was involved in two major illegal drugs discoveries.
Vital statistics; A389; commissioned 2003; fast fleet tanker replenishment ops; 196m; 18000t.

READ ALL ABOUT IT.

Tweaked the image so she could bask in the spotlight &*>

This one's even more camouflaged than the maggie. Afraid there was a bit of shake too - as it was very fluttery. Lucky to catch it at all.  Have to label it 'LBB' (little brown bird) as there is just not enough to distinguish it.

You see my condition? Resorting to stuffed critters! She was a rescue ele from the IKKY SHOPPE - you know the one, big barn which makes like a tardis.

Monday's Critters

Gracious, I have realised that I have not introduced you to my sponsor Guide-dog-in-training!!!

Meet Isaac. Have been watching him from babyhood, through puppyhood and this picture shows him as he moves into a training foster home.

Still something of a pre-schooler, then.

Isaac, of course, is something of a celeb over on MENO blog, as I enlisted my Blogville furiends in voting as to which of the puppies of the litter I ought to chose to support.

In my heat it was Isaac and thankfully, all but one of Blogville felt the same!  There will be another update photo soon.

It was a dark, dark, night. Not exactly stormy, but neither was it balmy. The graceful lady slid by - at quite some pace I must tell you!

The ship's speed and my own haste made for this waterfall of light.

Monday's Critters

Remember these folks? Mama has her own calf (smaller tan and cream) as well as two Belted Galloway bullocks. The other lad took off, but these three were as curious about as as we were about them!

That's the last you'll see of them (at least for this year); have been scrabbling around for other critter picturrs... weather and access have been against me of late. Got a few more and am sure I can locate a enough to see the year out... or there are always the archives!

SUNdays

Am recycling one from late last month which was taken with the Asus tablet... I was just so excited that there was even a hint of the sun appearing - wanted to capture it before it fled!!!

The sky was certainly silven; though I don't recall the clouds being quite so dramatic. Then again, we do get a lot of character in our skies here.

That gap between the rooves in the middle is where I get all my shipping shots &*>
