TAKE THREE HUNDRED AND FORTY FIVE

It's Thursday Challenge day again but I also have to factor in my week-long theme of shots from the Dunoon trip. The prompt is SHADOWS, be they intricate or simple.

... Against the fading winter sun, Silver Birch became her own shadow...

Or in YAM's case, left of field!  Taken with the 'Nik' on auto and lens extended to 10x optical.

This is NOT B&W shot - that's a true Scottish sky!

  2. Beautiful picture, Yamini, one can see all the littlest branches. I did think it was a blach and white....;-)). Greetings, MarjaK

  3. The grey sky enhances the form of the tree.

  6. A lovely capture!
That's our sky most of the year, here (central Indiana). About the only time we see blue sky is when it is absolutely freezing cold.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my 'shadows' entry.

  8. The Scottish sky looks a lot like our sky right now, dark and dreary. The tree looks like a shadow on the sky.
