We have had some amazing sunsets... but this sunrise over Edinburgh last week was something to behold!
Purple is one of the official colours of Scotland. I always thought it was to reflect the heather... but am starting to wonder if it's do with the fact we get so many purple skies!!!

Beautiful sunrise, the purple colors are lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very dramatic sky indeed, but no more so than the highlands clad in heather. Maybe the sky and the heather can share the honours when it come to purple.

ReplyDeletea truly beautiful sky and you may have guessed why the purple. our recycle bin is blue, today there was an odd light when we walked bob. the sun was up but could not get through the clouds and the recycle bin was PURPLE....
