Wings on Wednesday - 
YAM's take on the good, the bad, the ugly and the downright hilarious in photographing birds.



Trying to photograph flying gannets from a tossing ferry proved more than a challenge. This was the only image out of nearly thirty which was worth presenting - even for this paltry column!

  7. It's a great bird to photograph, but not the easiest as you have discovered. And of course the rolling of the boast didn't help.
