TAKE THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY EIGHT

Wings on Wednesday -

YAM's take on the good, the bad, the ugly and the downright hilarious in respect to photographing birds.

This Bharadwaj (common coucal) was photographed 12 months ago, in a different and warmer land.  I miss it fiercely, but that doesn't mean I don't love the place I am now, this frosty February!

Your turn - please link up any post you have where you tried out ornithological photography.

  1. Howdy YAM Aunty. What a beautiful colourful bird. Mum tried to rescue a galah yesterday sitting out the front of our place but it must have been stunned cause it squawked at her and flew away. Thank goodness. Take care. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  2. This coucal wouldn't be common if seen here in Canada, that's for sure. Wonderful wings for Wednesday, such a great colour.
And, I love the place you are, and want to visit as soon as possible. In fact, I reminded my husband of that fact this very morning.

  5. What a handsome fellow with his rust and blue colors. I wouldn't mind a warmer land at this moment but it's only wishful February thinking.
