The Tuesday Tease

"... and who was the bright spark who thought it was warmer in Australia than deepest darkest Zambia...?"

Another from the Minolta digcam archives taken at Taronga Zoo.

  2. So heartwarming, Yam, to see it's not just newborns who cuddle with their parents in some societies.
Come to think of it, Lindy has just recently discovered her daddy is willing to get down on the floor with her for a cuddle and a tummy-rub. I would have trouble enough getting down to floor level, and more than that getting up unaided. No, couldn't do it unaided, not these days, not even for a cuddle with the dog.
    Love this photo, Yam,

  4. I think they look like a family just hanging out together and sharing a little love with the little ones.

  5. Perhaps it's the power of suggestion, but these fellows look cold to me, green grass or no. Does it get monkey chillingly cold in Australia?

This is a thriving community at Taronga zoo, where they are generally very active and happy - this was taken on a spring day several years ago and the wind was bitingly cold ... so to answer your question Joanne; YES!
