TAKE FIFTY ONE j

Continuing with the rock collection items that I found in Australia. These two have significance beyond their geological interest. I was walking with my father on a line inspection in South Australia... these stood out from all the other very smooth and rounded pebbles. Can you guess???

  1. Definitely tools. The top is an the tip on a spear or arrow. The bottom is probably a scraping tool, used to cure hides.

Probably both spear points, Joanne - I didn't mention that the bigger one is no more than two inches in length, far too small for being a scraping blade. Yxx

  5. they look almost like arrowheads like maybe someone sharpened them at one time and one looks like it is peeling, and was done by human hands.
