TAKE ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN h

Saturday Symmetry

This Victorian building at Leith Docks may once have served as an ocean terminus of some sort - and is currently utilised as the offices of Forth Ports PLC. Glad it wasn't demolished as it lends strong character to the waterfront.

  1. Beautiful building, I like the row of arched windows and the lamp posts.
    Take care, enjoy your weekend!

  2. It looks rather like a church. I am entirely in agreement that it would have been a shame had it not been preserved.

  3. There is just something about arches that are so very warm and welcoming.
I too am so thankful it has been repurposed.

  4. it is way to beautiful to be torn down, comparing it to the modern buildings in the photo, it is by far the winner
