  3. As you know, YAM, the family is Parulidae. In my backyard we have just one member - Black-capped Chickadee. You are very fortunate in the UK to have Great Tit, Blue Tit, Coal Tit and in parts of Scotland, Crested Tit. I am quite envious!

      You have confirmed for me something I wasn't entirely sure of, David - that the Chickadee is a relative! I often thought they looked of similar type, but never really followed it up. I have not managed to photgraph a Coal Tit - and have yet to see a Crested Tit. Wrong side of the Bonny Land! Yxx
