TAKE ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY SEVEN g

 Monday's Critters

Over the next several weeks am going to be mining the archive of images of critters from India in 2012/13... some of you have been around long enough to remember them, but most of you now viewing came in more recent times, so they will be new to you!

This (to the best of my ID capabilities) is Nymphalidae Danaus..."Plain Tiger".

  1. I love flashbacks...as a rule I don't remember what I wore 2 days ago so the photos will be spankin' brand new to me

  2. Definitely new for us, and beautiful!!! It looks a lot like one of the butterflies on the puzzle in assembly right now.

  3. She is beautiful...she is very much like a Painted Lady. I keep looking and cannot decide if they are the same or not.

  9. Nice picture - took me three looks through the text to work out it was India! This lockdown is turning my brain to soup! Hope all is well.

I know exactly what you mean Stewart... COVID nonsense coupled with 24/7 cares (thus sleep deprivation x 87) has me wondering if I ever actually studied a PhD!!! I can barely think which limb to move sometimes. I do hope you have all remained safe down there... it's not the disease that bothers me, but the incredible disruption to the flow of life that is wrought... Yxx
