The ubiquitous sight of a soaring Herring Gull - in this case, a juvenile in its second year.

      It is all thanks to David and the review he gave! I treated myself to that book for my 60th birthday and whilst many gulls I will never see, I think it has paid its way just with improving my knowledge of the several that I see every day out my window!!! Yxx
