TAKE TWO d

Shipping by...

Back to the Clyde waters as seen from my window... These behemoths are tall enough to block the television signal! This is the "Caribbean Princess", which got in some trouble recently for dumping oily waste in the English Channel. I suspect many such ships do this way more times than they ever caught... sigh... (Confession time; I love industrial shipping - these things just make by blood run cold).

  1. It is huge......probably one of the largest passenger ships I've seen. I cannot imagine being in the open sea on something that big no telling how many people it holds. We took a cruise liner down the Inside passage in Alaska. It was only 3 decks and I thought that was huge.

  4. Nice ship - although two weeks on one is not my idea of fun.

Just about completed my work in Delhi - looking forward to being at home I think!

  5. I am not a fan of cruise ships either...they have done some nasty damage to some Caribbean reefs. I think the only cruise I would take would be an Alaskan cruise like HiC!

  6. It's amazing that something that huge can sail! When I see one, it always blows my mind.
