TAKE THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY ONE c

Wings on Wednesday -
YAM's take on the good, the bad, the ugly and the downright hilarious in photographing birds.

There are those who view starlings as rodents with wings. They are certainly opportunistic. ... and when they catch the sun, very, very pretty!

  1. Actually we think the Starlings are rather pretty too. In mom's opinion the Brown headed Cowbird is way more bothersome than the Starling. Cowbirds will even lay their eggs in another birds nest to avoid having to look after their own babies.
Love the way the sun catches the Starlings iridescent feathers

  2. Rodents with wings - no, I think not. When you see them up close with the beautiful shades of green and black, and tan, they are so pretty.
