TAKE TEN d

Wings on Wednesday -
YAM's take on the good, the bad, the ugly and the downright hilarious in photographing birds.

It was a family affair. Way back last spring, the local crow population grew. This mother (the darker, larger of the two) was doing its best to release the offspring, but it was crying up a storm, demanding food. Whenever mum caught a bug or worm, youngster was there trying to grab it, not getting the message it was supposed to be foraging for it's own.

Taken from my first floor kitchen window, hence the foreground 'noise'.

  2. My two oldest grandchildren were very successful at that game. Eventually their dad took away the subsidized apartment and TV and phone benefits. They got it, and both are actually doing well now.
