TAKE ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THREE b

Wings on Wednesday -
YAM's take on the good, the bad, the ugly and the downright hilarious in photographing birds.

This pretty girl gull was nesting right beside one of entry points at Rothesay Castle (Isle of Bute), at ground level. I don't know which of us was more surprised on discovery!

  2. Great capture. I drove the river road back to work yesterday and saw a swan "nesting" on the verge. I was in the park, so called them to report. I was not the first, and no one had checked on her yet. In case she was in distress I did not approach her, but I was mighty irritated no ranger had come to check. I left after half an hour.
