As this winter did not yield many new critter shots, am going to pick out a few of my earlier offerings and give them another viewing.

  1. The Praying mantis is the most ruggedly fierce and delicate looking critter.

  4. It always amazing me how delicate these creatures look - those legs look like they would crack with each step. And that neck, how does it stay so straight? Nature is incredible.

  6. Wonderful insects - we often find them in the garden - and sometimes they hang on the outside of our fly-wire doors, which is a source of torture to the cats!
