The Praying mantis is the most ruggedly fierce and delicate looking critter.

Looks like a couple of politicians I can think of. They have similar predatory habits too.
ReplyDeleteIt always amazing me how delicate these creatures look - those legs look like they would crack with each step. And that neck, how does it stay so straight? Nature is incredible.

ReplyDeleteWonderful insects - we often find them in the garden - and sometimes they hang on the outside of our fly-wire doors, which is a source of torture to the cats!
