Indian Squirrel

  1. Is that a species called Indian Squirrel or is the word indian used as an adjective to indicate that the critter is found in India?

      It's a species, David... strictly speaking it is the Indian Palm Squirrel (Funambulus Plamarum). Of course, it is so named because it is found in India - though has recently appeared in other South Asian areas as an invader. So it is also used in the adjectival form! Yxx

    I wonder how it will fare as an invader, and how the invaded will do.
