Natural sandstone outcrop utilised in a community garden as a boundary. The council decided to caulk it with cement to prevent erosion by collecting water in the natural fissures. One wonders that they couldn't have coloured the filler a bit...
They seem to have a way to dye caulk and cement different colors, used in homes and fixer upper shows. Take care, have a great day and a happy new week!
Nature has an amazing eye for color combos. I took a dress for success class in Jr. College. Many things learned from it but I'll always remember this statement: Colors together in nature are perfect for combining in your wardrobe. Of course then it went on to say everyone has a color season and not ever color season is for everyone. I'm late summer/fall. Hugs Cecilia
Effective perhaps, but aesthetically they could have done a much better job. I wonder if there is still a way to colour it?

Interestingly, the whited color brings out the lighter rocks surrounding the sandstone.
