Octopus cooked well is delicious. I used to go to a fairly high end Greek restaurant in Toronto with clients when I was still working, and they were masters, and I am sure that fresh from the ocean it is even better. Did you sample octopus while you were in Spetses or were you already vegetarian?
I'm conflicted ....somewhere between poor things and...hmmmm, how interesting!
ReplyDeleteOH MY word who knew such an activity existed. Would I be right in thinking they were put out to dry while still alive.

DeleteOh, no, I don't believe so... golly that never even occurred to me to question - wasn't going close enough to find out! Yxx

DeleteYes, vego... Yxx
I don't even like seeing them! Why is it I can look at dead fish, but these bother me? This photo sure makes a person feel something.
ReplyDeleteWonder if they taste best when fried or pickled
ReplyDeleteHello, I have never tried octopus and I do not think I will ever. I feel sorry for the poor things. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend ahead.
ReplyDeleteUnique and creative shot of the octopus ~ a delicacy that I don't plan on trying ~
