Wings on Wednesday - 
YAM's take on the good, the bad, the ugly and the downright hilarious in photographing birds.

 
These images were captured early last Autumn, through the double-glazing, in great hurry and lens at full-stretch. Goldfinches are not commonly seen in Dunoon, so they had to be recorded for posterity!

    There is always good natured dispute about whether your goldfinch or ours is the most handsome. I would say yours wins by a nose.

    I don't think I have ever seen goldfinches, if I did, I did not know it. they are really cute
