I am watching the Outlander series(set in the mid 1700s)...and just realized that your Inverness...and the Inverness in the show are the same. It shines a whole new light on the way I am going to watch the rest of the series!
Oh...and if you ever get the chance to watch this series about a strong post WWII English women who suddenly finds her way back to the Highlands of Scotland(among one of the Clans), I highly recommend it!
Hari OmHate to tell ya, but someone gave a couple of the books to me a long time back - and I couldn't get halfway through the first one without cackling at the ridiculousness of it all. Let's not even talk about the factual inaccuracies and really rather poor writing (which - no matter my opinion - has netted the author an absolute mint due to video rights) ... But yes, one and the same Inverness. I think you were otherwise occupied when my trip was being narrated over at Doses bloggy - if you are interested, click here!!! Yxx
Quite a collection of advertising there. I had trouble making out the barber's sign until I enlarged it. Having solved the mystery, I said, "Of course! The barber sign!" I can't remember the last time I saw one of them.
Hello, those steps are like aerobic exercise. I'd take them as a challenge, I hope the B&B was nice! Love the photos, pretty flowers and sign. Happy weekend to you!
Ohhh those are step too. Was that the only way to your B&B?

might take me a week to get up the steps and 2 weeks to come down, but they sure make a great photo. I love love the red flowers on the wall.
