Hari OM That's because this image is living up to the full title of these "wingsday" posts! If it helps, THIS IS THE VERY SAME BIRD when it eventually settle some ten minutes after... There was a partner and they were taking turns frolicing off the high bulding outside the ashram. Quite literally diving then pulling out before crashing into the mango trees below. I loved watching them! Yxx

I have seen thousands (literally) of Black Kites, and this bird may well be a Black Kite. It does not, however, look like a kite of any kind to me.
