Here we are at Thursday Challenge time again. The theme prompt this week is WOOD (as in 'things made from...')
This was at Jubilee point. It wasn't there a month before... a tree had gone, but this picnic set was present. That's as freshly made with wood as you are going to get! That was taken with the 'Nik' on manual mode and set at 200ISO, stopped down a couple of notches on the exposure as that glary Scottish light tried to dominate again.
...Or how about...
The bridge to nowhere. Barely four feet span over a small heath 'burn' (rivulet). Taken with the 'Nik' on auto.
One final one...
...under a thatched roof in a crofter's cottage at Auchindrain Museum Farm. (The rope was made of the reedy grass you see growing in the bridge shot.) Taken with the 'Nik' on B&W and manual modes, set at 400ISO.
