TAKE FOUR a

SUNdays

Sometimes, looking straight down 'the barrel' pays off...  A winter's afternoon and this nicely demonstrates a principal used in astronomy whereby light is scattered by an object sitting in front of the producer of said light... and as we all know, bent light = glorious colour!

Taken with the 'Nik' on manual mode, 80ISO and stopped down two notches.

  2. Great shot, m'dear. 'Tis beauteous.
Reminds me of my dad trying to explain things like ISO and "stopped down" to me and my brain refusing to admit (i.e. allow to enter) a single thing.
I used to have a good eye for framing a shot, but the camera had to be fully automatic.
Now, with artificial lenses in both eyes, I don't take many pictures any more. I taught my husband how to frame a shot, he taught himself how to use a camera, et voila...my intrepid photographer was born.
