TAKE SEVEN a

Wings on Wednesday -
YAM's take on the good, the bad, the ugly and the downright hilarious in respect to photographing birds.

Another from the Indian annals...a black kite eyes up breakfast.

Taken with the 'Nik' on auto and lens extended 5x optical.

Please do link up with your own posts with birds (or at least wings-related) photography.  Thanks for flying by!!

  1. Another terrific shot!! The bird blends perfectly into his background! I love it!! Hope the move is going well, Yamini, -- never fun though, that's for sure!!

  3. "If I had bowed my head on my breast, as I have held it high,
"the kite that whistles above you now were gorged 'til she could not fly"

When I was first reading Kipling, I always wondered what a "kite" looked like. There wasn't a photo of one in our encyclopedia, or in "Who's Who in the Zoo" which my brother and I were always dipping into.
So, a black kite has a brown head and brown legs with yellow feet. I should write that down somewhere. LOL
Looking forward to shots of whatever makes up the wildlife on the west coast of Scotland.
    Luv, K
