"The amen of Nature is always a flower." (Oliver Wendell Holmes)
The Uniden pocket digital camera has deceased. However, its legacy lives on, for I have many of its offerings stored. It had its limitations, no doubt, but golly, it could also turn up some amazing things I was never expecting. It did good and constant service for six years. I miss its convenience over the Nikon for those candid moments. Whilst the 'Nik' might make a better technical job of a shot like this, I am left with a fondness for the quirkiness and character I got from the Uniden. It shall be missed.

It is a beautiful capture and such glorious colors and I'm sure you will miss your old camera -- I feel the same way about my old one!! Hope your week is going well!

ReplyDeletethank you Sylvia; the challenge is to make of the 'Nik' the same eccentric character! Have a great weekend. xx
So are you getting another camera, I went through two Canons, dropped on and the second just died, the second one I miss the new one just does not seem the same.

ReplyDeleteHi Bill - not immediately, tho' do think I may need to once again get a little pocket cam for the sheer convenience. Am only with the Nikon now - the mini-history over on the sidebar! Cheers, Yx

Sorry to hear about Uniden's moving on but am sure you will get a wonderful replacement maybe a phone cam?
