We have a timer on the stove, a timer on the microwave, and a timer on each of our iPads. The timer on the washing machine no longer works, nor does the timer on the dryer, so setting dings of one kind or another is a feature in our house. As far as I can recall we haven't overcooked anything recently. Well we did burn some sesame seeds which we were roasting, but they burn from one second to the next.
My mom seldom burned things, did not own a timer in her life. I have been using times for at least 30 yrs...and use them more and more for the simplest things.
overcooking is my thing. not cooking at all is the thing I wish I did not have to do
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute timer! Take care, enjoy your day!

ReplyDeleteI thought that was a real Bartlett pear, which by the way is our favorite kind of pear, wow a timer you say.

Wow! I thought this was an actual pear...until I looked closer and saw the timer tic marks!
