      Actually, with mutterings to self about why didn't I just do my usual research (???), I found out this is the LARA1 - a crane barge, which is used for shifting heavy goods where wharf cranes are not available or unable to reach. Simple really! Yxx

    looks like a really high reaching crane to me, maybe loads/unloads the big ships or moves heavy thing around
