Monday's Critters
Jade Woof MacLean was my heart dog, the one who thought for herself and taught me a thing or two about life... and obeyed my every command except when it involved That Black Poodle who insisted on walking past the gate every morning...
Beautiful Jade. She looks like a happy girl.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. :-)
ReplyDeleteAh, the Black Poodle! We could all do without the Black Poodle!
ReplyDeleteHope all is well.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteJade is beautiful, great photo! Take care, enjoy your day! Have a happy new week!
What a stunning and regal pose Jade has in today's photo. BOL BOL BLack poodle knew how to press her buttons.
ReplyDeleteObviously because of the fence otherwise I'm sure that poodle would have walked around her elbow to get to her thumb.
Hugs
Cecilia
Such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteAngel Jade was gorgeous... shepherds are very smart for sure...

DeleteInteresting you mention GSD.. she was actually mothered by pedigree Rhodesian Ridgeback and the father was mainly English Staffordshire... but I often wondered that there must be some GSD in the heritage. Those ears, that tail!!! Temperement was definitely more RR though, with the occasional Staffy - ball obsession, for example. And Black Poodle Hating!!! It was a Standard poodle and definitely thought itself a cut above. As, to be honest, did the owner... They both sported 'hairstyles'!!! Yxx
I am sure she was a wonderful, faithful companion, and I hope there was no canine discrimination involved because the poodle was black!

DeleteLOL! There were many other black dogs around... it was the poodledom she objected to...or maybe it was just the way we sometimes feel about other humans,, they just drive the ire!!! Yxx
Laughing at the exception...one if my heart digs exceptions was cats. She hated cats and we never knew why
