  3. The thumbnail appeared to be a badly hurt dog, and I could read "no answer at the door". But the reason you did not take him off is so apparent.

      A wolf - there is some local legend tied to it... but I suspect it of being one of those Scottish Highland 'let us fool they Sassenachs' type tales... Yxx

    2. Once, so many years ago it seems mired in the mists of time I danced with a young woman in Glasgow, and she told me that it was the first time she had danced with a Sassenach, as though it were some exotic experience to be either vaunted or denied I am not sure which!
