Wings on Wednesday -
YAM's take on the good, the bad, the ugly and the downright hilarious in photographing birds.
I have the great good fortune of being able to sit at my desk and watch the hills and the territory between here and there. One tree, in particular, seems to attract the local birdlife. This shot of a magpie is one of my better ones, showing the beauty of the iridescent feathers on wings and tail.
YaYa I had no idea Magpies had such beautiful colors and photo. It looks so real. I thought they were just black and white.

DeleteThis one was with the 'Fudge'... Yxx
You can post pictures of Magpies all day as far as I am concerned and I will sing your praises to all who care to listen.
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful bird. It seems to be a little disparaged. Is it a nuisance?

To be honest, they are an 'invader' bird, Joanne; will pick this up in a future presentation as they are prolific around the Hutch! Yxx
Those MaggiePies are real noisy birdies but also VERY beautiful
