I've been watching a new program on Animal Planet, "Vets gone Wild". Dr. Chris Brown is a mobile vet for wildlife. Recently he went to Phillips Island to help free some seals from fishing lines and netting around their necks. Hugs HiC
Hari om Jackdaws are intelligent birds and it seems this pair have learned that plastic is a weatherproof lining for their West coast Scotland nest! Am certain there is no risk of ingestion by them... but not always the case of course. It is really rather heartbreaki g. Yxx

Hmmm, maybe those jackdaws could teach a thing or two to some silly pups here:)
Deleteplastic is killing our planet one way or another. but this is cute that they use it to "plastic' their nest and not 'feather' it
ReplyDeleteCorvids are smart and recognize durable material I am sure.
ReplyDeleteNice to see Jack is recycling and re-using!
ReplyDeleteHello, I hope they are smart enough not to eat the plastic. Using it as a nesting material is good. Have a happy day!
