Like ships that pass in the night only in daytime.....that saying doesn't work quite as well in daytime does it?*sigh* and there was me finking I was being really clever Loves and licky kisses Princess Leah xxx
I hopped to you from Jenn's blog, your pics of ML106, my dear friend Walter who I dedicated my blog to, he was in HMS in WW2, and was on ML106. He spent many years on the seas, leaving NZ at a very young age to join the Navy there in the UK. This is wonderful to see one of the ships right there.( I am assuming that ML still represents Motor Launch )? I looked up the records and Walter Drake was the Commander from 1943 to late that year, and 1944 to 1945.He was awarded the DSC, and this was on his coffin at his funeral here in NZ.
Lovely shot...looks like patches of snow up on the hills
