For the Thursday Challenge this week we are to approach things MINIMALLY - whether that be a simple subject, or basic and simple photography...
When the 'Nik' was still quite young and feeling fit, it worked on this Scribbly-Bark Eucalypt...
The next is one of the first images taken with the 'Fudge'... on auto scene mode it tends to make things 'blue'.
Have been fiddling and faddling with all the dials and buttons and there are a few decent shots coming out of the new tool... Will be using up the stock from the 'Nik' but gradually the 'Fudge' will take over.

Terrific captures as always, Yam, and I do love the lighthouse!! Hope your week is going well!!
ReplyDeleteOh, the learning curve. The tree bark is especially interesting.
ReplyDeleteNice textures.
ReplyDeleteWell taken. As Paresh observed, truly nice textures.
ReplyDeleteLoved the 2nd pic
ReplyDeleteI love the color pattern of both!
ReplyDeleteBoth very nice pictures! There is so much to see in a piece of bark, if only one would take the time to look! Have nice day Yam!
ReplyDeletePretty simple pictures!
ReplyDeleteI like that second shot a lot!
ReplyDeletegreat shots as ever Yam! Like the lighthouse
ReplyDeleteLove both shots!!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures, as always ;-)
ReplyDeleteBoth shots are great but my favorite is the channel marker. It's always fun to play with a new gadget.
ReplyDeleteI would love to take lessons. There is so much to learn by fiddling manually. I've been so lazy these days!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures :)
