Dry-stone walling is a major feature of Scottish landscape. This one is just by the ferry pier at Rhubodach, Isle of Bute. Taken with the 'Nik' on auto mode.
I'm trying to imagine the time (and talent) it took to build such a structure. There are probably many interesting stories that could be told just about the construction.
