TAKE FORTY SEVEN j

All my smaller and more fragile Clear Quartz points are kept in the little fabric purse.

The longest is little more than an inch in length.

A fair few of my stones are found and foraged... but none of this particular grouping. Yxx

  2. Well, David took that question right out of my mouth. My experience with that sort of quartz crystal has been from the interior of a geode.

Popular in shops are the geodes. Quartz is found in many geologic conditions, though. Here in Scotland, it is more likely to be 'sprouting' or as an inclusion in granite and basalt. These very clear points, though, are most likely to have come from Brazil. Yxx

  7. These are beautiful. I've found a few like this (usually very small) during my hikes in the desert. Lots and lots of quarts in the desert, but clear quartz is rare.
