Wings on Wednesday -
YAM's take on the good, the bad, the ugly and the downright hilarious of photographing birds.
Indian Black Kite at rest.
I have been forced to the archives of late, but am interested that they have not downloaded well... this shot was a whole lot better when originally posted.
It seems a handsome bird.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteGreat sighting of the Black Kite! Take care, enjoy your day!
Perhaps my eyes are disobedient this morning, but initially I read "at nest" instead of "at rest" and was wondering why I was unable to locate it!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture.
ReplyDeleteI am finding that the photos i have saved in the cloud, seem to not be as clear as they were when I took them, I am thinking they are compressed to save space.

DeleteActually, it is more like that they are spread out over available 'bytes' - remember those days when we had to 'defragment' our hard disks? Data is not held as a contiguous unit, unlike an actual filing cabinet. Thus when drawing the images down again, all the pixels have to be relocated... and this is what will result in the degradation of the image. Yxx
Beautifully composed shot!
ReplyDeleteVery nicely composed. I really like the tree branch framing!
ReplyDeleteI have recently discovered when zooming or cropping 35mm photos is not a good photo

I also looked at the photo of the ship. So glad I did, it's a great picture. I love the branches framing the bird in this current one.
