Now I am wondering what all the white stuff is on the bottom of the fence. It looks like it might be sheets wool. There's an awful lot of it. I like the way the fence looks like it goes down to a tiny little fence as it goes into the distance. Love the photo
Hari OM You are correct - it is wool.. this was taken in spring after lambing and wool all over the field - blown by the ever-present winds here!!! This is just down the road from the Hutch. No idea about the building; it is not the right conformation for having been a barn or outbuildings. May have been a lodge of some sort associated with the 'big hoose' which was up behind the photographer... Yxx
Very nice symmetry. And I liked the one on IG too.
ReplyDeleteGreat symmetry shot, I love the view!
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a happy weekend!
The thought occurs to me that I would be so focussed on looking for a bird on the wire, I would miss the symmetry completely!

Delete...and that itself is a meaningful observation! Yxx
My Mind's Eye sees so much. The vistas, the symmetry, the structure still standing proudly and the wire that is very shiny!!
