In many parts of Australia, particularly by shorelines, these picnic platforms can be found. In theory, they keep you above the ants. Theory, I said...
we have them here to, i think it is to keep us out of the sand or mud, which ever it is at the moment. i do know it does not work well with ants, they climb well
Wonder on what grounds the theory was formulated. Lovely photograph for the theme.

DeleteLOL - indeed... everyone knows ants love a good climb. So do snakes for that matter and just about every other critter! Yxx
If there is a picnic going on, those ants will find you:)
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI like being above the ants, great symmetry photo. Take care, enjoy your weekend!
Isn't it part of the immutable laws of nature that if you have a picnic ants will join you? Sometimes they bring their friends the bush flies too!

ReplyDeleteIn theory, that was funny...those little ants are determined where there is food over hill and dale not a problem

I take it Theory takes a back seat to reality...
