TAKE THREE HUNDRED AND FOUR f

SUNdays

This is the full image from which I created this year's seasonal blog header. The three kings (or wise men, if you prefer) offering their gifts, and the departure from Bethlehem.

  1. These windows are true works of art in their own right. A friend of ours has now created either four or five stained glass windows for her own house. Her husband says that his biggest fear is that he will break one while installing it! If he does, I'll be sure to let you know how the divorce goes!

My mother worked the glass and lead: small pieces only, but very lovely. I so admire such work and love that people are choosing to place items in their homes as you describe. Another favourite thing for renovators here is to 'reclaim' windows from civil and church buildings to recycle in their homes. Here's hoping hubby survives the installation! Yxx

  2. It is beautiful and as I type Leonard Cohen's, Born on the Wire 2008, started to play on Pandora.
We both enjoy him and are appreciative you shared him with us.

Bird on a Wire is one of LC's classics... a true poet of musical mastery! So glad you have found merit and enjoyment from his playlist. Yxx
