TAKE ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY THREE

Wings on Wednesday -

YAM's take on the good, the bad, the ugly and the downright hilarious in respect to photographing birds.

LAUNCHPAD:
Part one of three... this young bird may have been on it's training flight.  Come back next Wednesday to see how that went!

Taken with the 'Nik' on sports auto and 16x optical zoom.

Hari Om everyone!  A special event - I have decided to put a linky gadget on this mid-week spot as they seem to be popular and lots of folks have 'wings' piccies!  The 'Wings on Wednesday" is my very own theme, so please, if you do link up, all I ask is that you stick to the following:
1)   Your link should be directly to a bird picture/s and does not have to be 'professional'. This is specific please, so be aware that other subjects will have their links deleted.  General postings can link at Tuesday's Me-Now-Views over at My Meno!
2)   Your blog should be non-commercial.  Whilst I respect your right to earn money, this is for hobbyists to network.  Please know that I will remove any overtly commercial connection.
3)   Please put a link-back/shout out to MY TAKE.  Thank you!

In that regard, I would like to say HI and Thanks to NC Sue for putting up a great Linkys page.

This link will remain open until midnight Friday, Mumbai time.

Let's have fun  - your comments will also be appreciated.

  1. Birds are hard to shoot because as soon as they are in focus, they fly away.

Hey Alissa! Hmmm.. thank you for linking and commenting - the purpose of this page is to show that no matter how fluttery - birds CAN be photographed! It's for amateur fun - do have a go!!

I have deleted others due to non-compliance of the clear requests; however, your boy comes close to having wings, so 'first time lucky'!

    Blessings, YAM xx

  4. The birds have left our garden since you told us about this link so have had to cheat a bit and we found one from mum and Uncle Pips trips to Australia in 2004. Mum cannot remember where it was, but am sure you can, so we can add that later.
