While your efforts are appreciated, YAM, these photographs do not do justice to the bird. You are hereby commanded to go back and try again (if any swallows remain in your northerly regions still). If in fact they are now en route to Africa you will no doubt wish to mount an expedition to the Southern Hemisphere for the express purpose of obtaining high quality Barn Swallow shots. We will look forward to the results, and other details of your southern peregrinations. Spare no expense and put your whole heart into it. We (and the swallows) expect no less. Ever your devoted advisor - David
