Gorse looks so lovely in its native environment. In NZ is was/is an absolute menace. And as for the saying .... works for us. The smiling bit seems to throw people off balance! Maybe they think we are slightly unhinged. furrings and purrings - Mr T and F
Some of my fondest memories of the British Isles have Gorse in them. It is very beautiful and has always seemed so right in the environs where I have seen it.
