Lots of pumpkins around here now, and the price has gone down a little post Halloween. Maybe I'll buy one and make pumpkin soup. Yesterday I made chicken stew with dumplings, a cold weather favourite and good for two nights. Earlier in the week Miriam had made broccoli soup. It is that time of year!
And I do so love a pumpkin orange. I now feel comfy wearing orange since my has has natural highlights of gray. When I was young those highlights were red. Hugs Cecilia
I drove by a home a few days ago, and out at the curb with the garbage were many pumpkins big and little and the decorative ones, all sizes and colors and I wondered if other countries are spending their hard earned money on this food for decor and then tossing in the trash. I am thinking there was 100 dollars of food that is edible going out in the trash for a couple of weeks of decor...
Love the quote and the pumpkin is colorful!
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great weekend!
