Inevitably, we are soon going to lose David Attenborough. My take on such matters is that people live and people die, quite simply; there is no more to it than that. But when David goes I will mourn. A specific form of greatness will have gone, and I doubt that its like will be seen again.
We are extremely fortunate still to have Sir David, so active and engaged even into his nineties. (What a shocking picture that was last week, of our scoundrel of a Prime Minister, maskless and falling asleep while sitting next to the great man at the climate conference. How dare he!)

I can "hear" Mr. Attenborough saying this...I really do enjoy listening to his narrations of everything natural.
