this is how I like to see leaves of any kind, sunshine makes them extremely green . I can never pass up taking a photo when I see them like this. so beautiful
Such a lovely rich green too. I just added an explanation about the field of day lilies. Many seemed confused by them on the highway. LOL Many years ago, NC, Started a highway beautification project. Fields of wildflowers and lilies are scattered on the interstates. Usually in open fields near on and off ramps. I fear the fields are closely disappearing due to the need for bigger and better roads. Now we see more fields of the orange and white construction barrels. Hugs Cecilia

I am nit sure if the size of the leaf, but perhaps a tailorbird could make its home there.
