    Great shot of a fabulous bird, iconically Australian as you say. I sure hope I am able to get back there one more time. I suspect you may return for a visit too.

    Those kookaburras probably have more rain right now that they would laugh about very much. Pretty birds.

    Oh I have heard the Kookburras chatting they are quite vocal....even though they are small.
